I figure before
I get started it might be nice for you to know a little bit about me. So here
goes –
I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma I grew up here and never left. I
graduated high school from Booker T. and got my Bachelor’s degree from
Northeastern State University. My lovely boyfriend and I bought our first home
nearly a year ago and after joining Chinowth & Cohen Realtors I am inspired
to start this Homey blog!
We have two dogs, Mable and Benelli, as well as two cats,
Gus and Ollie. You might think that cats and dogs don’t get along but ours
absolutely love each other!
Our home is midcentury and we would like to keep a sense
of that with a mix of new. In the last year we haven’t gotten very far, mainly
treasure hunting for furniture. This year I hope to put in a garden and do some
painting! The bathroom needs to be done but that is going to be one heck of a
project. Maybe that will happen this year too… if so that would be absolutely
amazing.
But I don’t want this to be all about my home! I want this
to be about finding your perfect home. Whether it is making your current home
better or going out and finding a new house to call home.
